Neste trabalho é apresentada a descrição dos caracteres morfológicos externos do ovo e dos ínstares ninfais de Loxa deducta Walker e Pallantia macunaima Grazia, alimentando-se de frutos de Ligustrum lucidum Ait. Os ovos e os cinco ínstares ninfais são ilustrados.

In this paper the description of the immature stages of Loxa deducta Walker and Pallantia macunaima Grazia (Heteroptera: Pentatomidae) fed on privet, Ligustrum lucidum Ait. are offered as an aid to their taxonomic identification. The eggs and all five instars are illustrated.
